This film stars Roberto Benigni as Guido, Nicoletta Braschi as Dora, Giorgio Cantarini as Giosué. This film tells the story of Guido who is an Italian Jewish, wishes to open a book store and marry a beautiful lady Dora who is already in a relationship with another man.
Ultimately Guido married Dora and they have a son and they name him Giosué. After some days, an unexpected turn came to their life when WWII breaks out and Germans arrest them since they are Jewish. This is an incredible piece of cinema. This film won three Oscar including in the “Best Foreign Language Film” category.
2. Children of heaven (1997)

Directed by Majid Majidi, children of heaven is an Iranian family drama film. The film portraits Ali-Zahra’s brother-sister relationship in a very unique and beautiful way, on over a lost pair of shoes, and how they deal with this situation because they can’t afford a new pair as their financial situation is not good.
In 1998 this film nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

He works at an ostrich farm until he is fired because one of the ostriches escapes from the farm. After that, he finds a new job in the town and also faces new challenges. This film portraits the struggle of a common man in a beautiful way.
